You can bring us in for consulting only, for consulting plus iQuotient IMS rollout, or as the strategic layer around an existing internal system. The starting point is always the same: understand the operation, the gap and the most practical path forward.

What Synercon does

We prepare the management system: scope, gap analysis, procedures, registers, internal audits, corrective actions, management review and evidence control. We build or improve the working ISO system, prepare your team and evidence before the external audit, and support maintenance afterwards.

What the certification body does

An independent certification body performs the external certification audit and decides whether certification can be issued. We do not issue ISO certificates. The certification body also runs surveillance and recertification audits, and those audit roles stay separate from our consulting support.

Whether you need ISO 9001 quality, ISO 14001 environmental or ISO 45001 health and safety (standalone or integrated), we align the system to the way your operation actually works, not to generic templates, with risk-based procedures, incident workflows and legal compliance monitoring.

What does ISO consulting include?
It is practical support to design, implement, maintain and improve a management system aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 45001. We help build the system and prepare your team, while an independent certification body performs the certification audit.
How long does ISO implementation take?
A full implementation is usually scoped around the size, complexity and readiness of the business. We can work through a phased plan, focused gap closure, or ongoing support arrangement.
Can we show progress before we are certified?
Yes. From the start of implementation you receive a Consultation in Progress letter, renewed monthly, which you can show a customer or tender adjudicator as evidence that implementation is underway. It does not replace the certificate.
Can Synercon issue ISO certification?
No. Synercon is an ISO consulting and implementation partner. We help prepare, maintain and improve the management system, while an independent certification body performs the certification audit and decides whether certification can be issued.
How much does ISO certification cost?
The total cost depends on scope, sites, employee count, standards, current readiness, consulting effort and the independent certification-body audit. We start by scoping the system and gaps so the right support path is clear before cost is discussed in detail.
How do we get ISO certification in South Africa?
The usual route is to confirm scope, build or improve the management system, train process owners, run internal audits, close gaps, complete management review and then arrange the external audit with an independent certification body. Synercon supports the preparation and improvement work before that independent audit.
Do we need an in-house ISO specialist?
No. Many clients use Synercon as an external consulting partner for guidance, documentation, audits, training and follow-up. Where useful, iQuotient can add digital visibility without requiring a full-time ISO specialist.
What ISO training do you provide?
Training depends on the engagement. Typical support includes ISO awareness, process-owner guidance, internal-auditor upskilling and practical workshops for the people who must run the system.
How do you run a gap analysis?
We work through the standard with your team in about half a day. You get honest verbal feedback on the day and a proposed route forward, your scope, consulting days and price follow in the proposal, and then we guide you through each step of implementation.
What support continues after implementation?
Ongoing support can include retainers, remote guidance, on-site visits, internal audits, management-review preparation, corrective-action follow-up and optional iQuotient IMS support.
Can you combine ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001?
Yes. We regularly structure integrated management systems so ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 work together instead of creating duplicate procedures and separate evidence trails.
Do we need iQuotient IMS to work with you?
No. Synercon can provide consulting on its own. iQuotient is available when you want a live digital system for documents, risks, audits, non-conformances, actions, training and dashboards.
